This band is all about having fun playing music. We welcome players from the age of twelve to 100 (over 100, please bring a note from your parents). There are no auditions, no attendance requirements, no costs, and no commitment other than to enjoy playing music. We welcome young people in the early stages of learning music and older people returning to playing. We even have a few members who are actually good, and we appreciate their help in keeping this together!
We play concerts throughout the year – nursing homes, senior citizen residences, concerts in the park, etc. As with our rehearsals, your attendance and participation are at your convenience. If you are only able to join us occasionally but enjoy your time with us, you are just as welcome as the dedicated player who never misses a rehearsal.
We rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 7pm to 9pm in the Morris Plains Community Center.
